Raina Arnett

New York-based violinist Raina Arnett performs internationally as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. Recent festival appearances include the Lucerne Festival (Switzerland), London Jazz Festival (UK), Grafenegg Festival (Austria), Festival PAAX GNP (Mexico), London Festival of Baroque Music (UK), Creative Dialogues XI (Finland), and Bang on a Can Long Play Festival (USA). Recent and upcoming highlights include leading the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra in Switzerland; performing at Carnegie Hall with Ensemble Signal; and performing as a soloist with the New Amsterdam Symphony. She is a founder of the contemporary chamber music collective Glass Clouds Ensemble, which has been invited to artist residencies at the Yellow Barn Institute and the Avaloch Farm Music Institute, and has received grant support from Chamber Music America and the Juilliard School, among others. Raina is a recent MM graduate of the Juilliard School, and her mentors include Leila Josefowicz, Lewis Kaplan, Renee Jolles, and Brad Lubman.
