Gabrielle Doran, soprano and artistic consultant
Gabby Doran is a soprano based in Minnesota. A versatile and experienced choral performer, she specializes in chamber Renaissance music, Baroque, and new/experimental works. She is also a composer/songwriter/recording artist: her first full-length album was commissioned and released in 2023. Gabby brings a creative, audience-focused edge to performing and has written, produced, and starred in multiple theatrical works weaving music from all eras – classical to modern pop – into engaging narratives. She particularly loves welcoming new listeners to classical music. Ever branching out creatively, Gabby is currently writing a musical romcom about the city of Minneapolis. She and her husband have four kids, three cats, and a growing collection of random instruments she plans to learn eventually.
