Explore the mystical sounds and images of Hildegard von Bingen, a 12th-century musician, theologian, philosopher, botanist, doctor, former-magistra (mother superior), current-saint, and one of the first-named music composers. Hildegard experienced visions (“umbra viventis lucis” or “the reflection of the living light”) starting at the age of three. Taking inspiration from her life and artwork, this multimedia concert highlights four of her most famous visions and spiritual concepts. This multimedia concert features music by The Pandora Consort and projected images of medieval artwork animated by Cate Duckwall. Featuring members of the Pandora Consort - Kendra Comstock, Angie Tyler, Gina Marie Falk, voices and harmonium.
